Here are two shots from Sandown Beach today. The first is unedited, pretty much straight from the Z6 with Z 14-30mm S f/4 lens. The second I’ve added a little HDR via the NIK Collection HDR Effex Pro 2 Photoshop CC plugin. Better or? You decide.

Nikon Z6 + Nikkor 400mm f/5.6 ED IF manual focus lens. This is not the fastest or easiest lens to shoot with as it’s extremely long yet quite light and VERY prone to lens vibration. Another test of the Nikon 400mm f/5.6 ED IF
This lens is sharp! It’s not an easy one to handhold as it’s light and long but even this shot, taken on a wobbly travel tripod, is sharp enough!
11mm fisheye and 14-30mm Z.
Here’s a few test shots I did this morning with the 180mm f/2.8 ED AIS manual focus lens with the old TC-14A teleconverter. These were all handheld, between f/2.8 and f/5.6, around 1/200 and ISO 100. I have to say I’m impressed with how sharp these. This lens will be buried with me!
Another quick stop at Ryde Pier yielded these two with the Z 14-30mm f/4.
A little later in the morning the fog had cleared and was replaced with some wonderful sunshine.
Here are two shots from this morning, testing a new TTArtisans 11mm f/2.8 fisheye lens. We had a lot of fog this morning which created some beautiful scenes at around 7am.
