Looks good to me!
A few more shots using this legendary lens on the Nikon Z FC. Keep in mind that this lens is effectively a 52mm lens on the DX Z FC. The detail it captures is incredible and the rendition is smooth and very Leica-like. I absolutely love it! Do you?
Just received this lens as we step up the current line up of “vintage” lenses. Designed to use with Leica bodies, the 35mm f/1.2 VIII is a fast lens that gives that vintage “look” but it’s actually a fairly new lens that came to market in 2020, I believe. It’s far from cheap but the […]
I regretted selling my Jupiter 3 50 f/1.5. It’s a stunning little lens that produces Leica-like results so when the Nikon Z FC landed I decided to purchase another. The first shot (taken in Bembridge, IOW, confirmed I was right.
Nikon Z6 + Nikkor 400mm f/5.6 ED IF manual focus lens. This is not the fastest or easiest lens to shoot with as it’s extremely long yet quite light and VERY prone to lens vibration. Another test of the Nikon 400mm f/5.6 ED IF
This lens is sharp! It’s not an easy one to handhold as it’s light and long but even this shot, taken on a wobbly travel tripod, is sharp enough!
Here’s a few test shots I did this morning with the 180mm f/2.8 ED AIS manual focus lens with the old TC-14A teleconverter. These were all handheld, between f/2.8 and f/5.6, around 1/200 and ISO 100. I have to say I’m impressed with how sharp these. This lens will be buried with me!
Another quick stop at Ryde Pier yielded these two with the Z 14-30mm f/4.
