Enter The Nikon Z6

After years of using a D300S and D700 it’s time to finally move on. A new chapter in the lives of the world seems to have begun and appropriately a new chapter in my photographic life has too begun. I’ve gone from DSLR to mirrorless and this will be my faithful steed for the next few years.

I always get asked which straps I’m using and my reply is always the same. FootPrint Straps are handmade by Clive Goff and can be ordered in a miriad of differing thread colours of your choice. I already have two of Clive’s neck straps so this time I treated the new Z6 to a wrist strap with thread to match the iconic red flash present on all Nikon’s digital cameras.

The little case that I keep attached to the wrist strap is an old, vintage Zippo lighter case that I use to carry an extra couple of (XQD) memory cards but it also works perefectly with SD or Compact Flash cards.
