Today I said “Goodbye” to this little gem. It really wasn’t getting used and with the imminent arrival of the new Nikon Z5 I felt it was time for it to find a new home. I have to say, it had its quirks but all in all it was a joy to use and some of the images that it produced seemed somehow to unique to this particular camera. Anyone looking for a good daily companion camera (not a pocketable one but one thrown casually over the shoulder) the X10 should be high on your list. The X20and X30 have since come and gone but many agree that the original X10 images had something “Leica-like” about them and as a result many are searching out this model in favour of its younger siblings. Not only does it produce outstanding images it’s also a thing of beauty to behold!
